How a run goes

Paste your scene
Paste the script as text, and Readthru sorts it into roles and lines. Three short scenes come with the app, so you can try a run first.

Your partner reads
The other roles are read aloud. Their words move along on the screen as they are spoken.

You say your line
Readthru follows your line word by word and waits for its last words, so a short pause in the middle is not taken as the end. If it misses you, one tap moves on.

Film the take
Filming is on unless you turn it off, and your face floats in a small window while you read. Trim the start and the end, then export a self-tape, upright or sideways, with your partner’s voice in or out.

Read your notes
After each run, Readthru shows how many lines you said as written, and which lines you changed or left out.
Privacy
There is no account. Your voice is turned into text on your iPhone. Your scripts, takes and notes are saved on your iPhone, not on our servers. The privacy policy says what can leave your iPhone, and when.
